The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office is interested in applicants seeking full-time employment in the Correctional Center located in Davant. Correctional Officers currently operate on a 12-hour shift schedule which allows for every other weekend off. Along with a competitive salary, PPSO offers a generous benefits package which includes paid employee health insurance, paid vacation and paid retirement with 100% pension after 30 years of employment. Correctional Officers also receive a pay raise after one year of employment.
